Boyce Avenue

If you haven't heard of Boyce Avenue then where on earth have you been? They are the best thing to come out of youtube since it was invented! They have found fame by doing acoustic covers of popular chart songs, often to as good a standard as the original if not better. They also write a lot of their own material. 

As with most music that I like, I usually find out about bands a few years before they release a song that really catches everyone's attention. In this case it appears to be their beautiful piano cover of Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream':

As an avid follower of the band on youtube, it was clear that this song was taking off as it gained millions of hits in the first week. In no time at all people were talking about Boyce Avenue.


Outside of youtube covers the band have two albums to their name featuring some of their own material.
